Travel insurance: compulsory for every trip
Every guest must hold valid travel insurance that explicitly covers kitesurfing before joining one of our trips — no exceptions. This isn't paperwork for its own sake: downwinders take you to remote coastlines where help takes longer to arrive.
Your policy should cover medical treatment and evacuation, and specifically list kitesurfing or kiteboarding as a covered activity — many standard travel policies exclude 'extreme' or watersports by default, so double check the fine print.
We'll ask to see proof of cover before departure. If you're not sure whether your policy qualifies, send us the wording and we're happy to take a look with you.
