Services · Kite Around
Guided downwinders from one day to six, along the coast of Ceará, Piauí and Maranhão.
A downwinder is a one-way ride: you launch in one village and land in the next, with the wind at your back the whole way. Northeast Brazil is built for it. From June to January the trade wind blows side-onshore at 18 to 25 knots, day after day, along hundreds of kilometres of open beach.
We run four guided downwinders on this coast: a one-day initiation around Jericoacoara, a two-day ride from Barrinha to Tatajuba, three days from Jericoacoara to Barra Grande, and a six-day route of roughly 300 km, either Cumbuco to Jericoacoara or Jericoacoara to Atins.
Every trip has car support. A driver follows the group along the coast, stays connected by Starlink where there is no phone signal, and is there to help whenever you need it. You ride light and only think about the water.
