Who's Actually Guiding You in Brazil

Who's Actually Guiding You in Brazil

When we say every trip is guided, that's not a marketing line — it's four specific people, and it's worth knowing who they actually are before you book.

Every route starts with Laszlo, our founder, who's Belgian-born but based in Jericoacoara and plans and scouts every itinerary himself before it becomes a trip we offer. He's also the reason nobody gets lost in translation — between English, Spanish, Portuguese and French, there's always a language in common, whoever's in the group.

On the water, you're riding alongside Luana Sousa or Henio Gomes. Luana has 16 years of kitesurfing experience and specialises in long-distance downwinders — she knows this coast's conditions in the kind of detail that only comes from riding it for years, not just studying a forecast. Henio is IKO certified and focuses on downwind and big air, with real experience in water safety and long-distance navigation — the two things that matter most once you're an hour into a leg and conditions shift.

On land, Carlos Eduardo Vasconcelos has run car support along the Rota das Emoções — the Preá to Atins corridor — for 8 years. That's not a small detail: this coast is remote, and 8 years of driving it means he knows which tracks are passable after rain and where to actually meet you if something changes. He also carries Starlink, so the support car stays connected even on stretches with no phone signal — which matters a lot more out here than it would almost anywhere else.

And behind all of it, Krisztian keeps the website, bookings and day-to-day logistics running, so the answer to a question you send before your trip doesn't get lost in the noise.

This is the actual difference between booking a guide and booking a route: our team has ridden and driven this specific coast for years, cumulatively, before you ever get here. Tell us your dates and your level, and you'll be riding with people who already know exactly where the wind — and the help, if you ever need it — will be.
