How Much Does a Kitesurf Trip to Brazil Cost? Real Downwind Prices
Prices for kite trips in Brazil are hard to compare, because every operator counts differently: per person or per group, with or without the hotel, with or without the guide. Here are our real prices, in Brazilian reais, and how to read them.
The most important thing to understand: our prices are per group, not per person. Every trip is private, for 1 to 6 riders. The more you are, the less each one pays.
One-day downwind: R$ 1,200 for a group of 1 to 3 riders, R$ 1,800 for 4 to 6. That covers the IKO-certified guide on the water, the buggy with a private driver and the pick-up at your hotel. For three friends, it comes to R$ 400 each.
Two-day downwind: R$ 2,400 for 1 to 3 riders, R$ 3,600 for 4 to 6. The night in Jericoacoara is optional: R$ 300 per room if you book it through us, or you choose your own hotel.
Three-day downwind, Jericoacoara to Barra Grande: R$ 6,500 for 1 or 2 riders, R$ 6,800 for 3 or 4, R$ 7,100 for 5 or 6. Three nights in a pousada with breakfast are included, along with the guide and a car with a private driver. For a group of six, that is about R$ 1,183 each for three days.
Six-day downwind: from R$ 12,600 for 1 or 2 riders on route A (Cumbuco to Jericoacoara) and from R$ 13,500 on route B (Jericoacoara to Atins), with six pousada nights and breakfast included. A group of six pays R$ 16,200 on route A, or R$ 2,700 each.
What to budget on top: your flights, the transfer to the starting point, lunches and dinners (breakfast is included with every night booked through us), nights before and after the trip, and travel insurance that covers kitesurfing, which is compulsory on all our trips.
You can pay in reais, euros or US dollars, at the exchange rate of the day of payment. Prices change from time to time: the trip pages always show the current ones.
The simplest way to know your price is to tell us how many you are and how many days you have. We answer with one number, and nothing hidden behind it.
