The route
No fixed route: we build the downwinder around you. Tell us how many days you have, what you feel like riding (flat lagoons, waves, long distance, remote villages, more rest) and the level of each rider, and we put together the legs that fit, anywhere between Cumbuco and Atins. From a single day upwards, for groups of 1 to 6 people, with the same private guide on the water and the same support vehicle as on our other trips. Price depends on the time of the season, the number of people on the downwind and the package you choose. Contact us for a quote.
How it works
Tell us how many days you have. One day, a long weekend or a full week: the time you have decides how far along the coast we go.
Tell us the level of each rider. We choose legs that everyone in the group can enjoy, from flat lagoons to long open-ocean runs.
Flat water, waves, distance, remote villages, rest days: tell us what you came for and we build the trip around it.
We send you a day-by-day proposal with a quote. You adjust it with us until it fits.
When to go
The trade winds blow steady and strong along this coast from July through December, with the most reliable conditions between August and November — the best window to book any of our downwinders.
Daily rhythm
Mornings start gently at the pousada with a proper, healthy breakfast — fuel for the riding ahead.
Over coffee, your guide talks you through the day's route, the wind forecast and what to expect along the way.
Wind at your back, coastline ahead — you ride from spot to spot with your guide alongside you the whole way.
Our support vehicle follows along the coast, ready for a water stop, snacks or a longer break whenever needed.
Reaching the day's finish line calls for a celebratory drink — you've earned it.
Settle into a new town and a new pousada, freshen up and take a moment to breathe.
The evening is yours — dinner, a wander, and an early night. Tomorrow, the wind calls again.
